The US model (see map below) has a trough of low pressure that will try to push inland. The big question is will the ridge of high pressure to the east block the trough of moving into Washington? Time will tell. If the trough moves inland we can expect a cooling trend with chance of precipitation .</p><p><p></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5mdeHIJ5NjKlSH209vg1W8d_jfLMgm7upu5uKBxXvUCNO0n8DBUz_-7OcUCDrdYqHci6RYCnaKGFpBf1NKZToQLU-YbGXMU1VXnJ2L22FZpVQfHfXEknlD9gJgaG56MtNmSO75V5uoRQ/s1024/Aug+11%252C+2020.gif" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1024" data-original-width="1024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5mdeHIJ5NjKlSH209vg1W8d_jfLMgm7upu5uKBxXvUCNO0n8DBUz_-7OcUCDrdYqHci6RYCnaKGFpBf1NKZToQLU-YbGXMU1VXnJ2L22FZpVQfHfXEknlD9gJgaG56MtNmSO75V5uoRQ/s640/Aug+11%252C+2020.gif" /></a></div><div style="color: #222222; font-family: "times new roman"; margin: 0px;"><b>Custom Weather Forecasts Services </b></div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="font-family: arial, tahoma, helvetica, freesans, sans-serif; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td><div style="margin: 0px;"><a href="http://www.westcoastweather.com/" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" target="_blank"><b><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7D4Tqv6AwVpc8EhJG35SYARk2GFaMqYBFOw3MwrHojOnKGz6fc0k0id4t5kEzotwxxG9_3diVC0Klt93TSUYEgek-qEkFv65SN0iOTu_E84xutPK-x8Vg120qwyCMJJsJATMJg3OCTGw/s320/wcw_logo.png" /></b></a></div></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="font-size: 19.2px;"><div style="margin: 0px;"><u><span style="color: red;"><b><a href="https://www.westcoastweather.com/" target="_blank">Check out our custom weather services</a></b></span></u><br /><div><br /></div></div></td></tr></tbody></table>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9082295200809827281.post-56119285776759189272020-08-06T13:01:00.016-07:002020-08-07T05:51:26.607-07:00Fagin's Hike of the Week- Mt. However I think at times we will have a weak trough of low pressure off our coast at times and this would tend to bring more normal temperatures with slight chance of a few showers (very limited) for the West Cascades and Olympics at times. However I don't have a high level of confidence in this forecast and the position of the trough<br />

We went close to 7 miles roundtrip about 1800' gain. Great views! Once the gate is open then you park at the<b><i><u><span style="color: blue;"><a href="https://www.blogger.com/%3Ca%20href=%22https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/jolly-mountain-via-sasse-ridge-trail%22%3EJolly%20Mountain%20via%20Sasse%20Ridge%20Trail%20%E2%80%94%20Washington%20Trails%20Association%3C/a%3E" target="_blank"> trailhead </a></span></u></i></b>and hike to Jolly Mountain and Sasse Mountain by starting on Sasse Ridge trail. If you hike to both mountains total mileage close to 11 miles and less of course if you just hike one of them<br />

Directions: <span style="background-color: white; color: #2a2a2a; font-family: inherit; font-size: 16.95px;">Drive I-90 east to exit 80, and exit, heading north on Bullfrog Road (crossing the freeway). Pass through two roundabouts, following signs for 903, and pass through the town of Roslyn and Ronald. Just past the turnoff for Forest Road 46, look for an unsigned, paved road to the right. This is FR 4315 we were able to drive several miles before that gate. Once the gate is open you would drive it 7.5 miles (from the main road) to a parking area high above the Salmon La Sac valley.</span><br />
