Fagin's Hike of the Week- Shriner Peak

Hike off of Hwy 23 in Mt. Rainier Park. Go early to beat the heat. The views are great and there are wildflowers in the upper basin. This is a former fire lookout.

Driving Directions: If you are coming from Enumclaw drive 47 miles on east SR 410 to junction of SR 123 and SR 410. Go on SR 123 7.5 miles to parking spot on the right. The trailhead is on the other side of the road.
Trail Stats: 3400 foot gain and 8.5 miles roundtrip. Here is our track.
