Fagin's Hike of the Week- Alpine Lookout

Issued September 16, 2015

Alpine Lookout is east of Stevens Pass and offers great views of Glacier Peak. There might be several inches on new snow at the top (at 6200 feet) by this Thursday. Thanks to Alan Bauer for many of the photos.

Trail stats: Go on trail number 1529 and go 1.6 miles to junction of Nason Ridge trail (#1583). Turn left (west) and go 3.3 miles to junction on the right. Finally, go short .3 miles to the top. 11  miles roundtrip and 3100 feet gain.
